WHAT IS A CAR THERMOSTAT?
Your car’s thermostat is responsible for opening and closing in response to the temperature sensor in your vehicle. By default, the thermostat rests in the closed position, only allowing coolant to run through the engine, not the radiator, for faster heating, better fuel efficiency, and lower emissions.
